This full-day tour from Bangkok takes you on an enriching journey through the province of Kanchanaburi, combining moving historical sites with the natural beauty of Erawan National Park.
Start the day at the JEATH Museum, which documents the harrowing experiences of Allied prisoners of war and Asian laborers who were forced to build the Thai–Burma “Death Railway” during WWII. The museum offers an emotional and educational perspective on this dark chapter of Thai history.
Next, visit the world-famous Bridge Over the River Kwai — a historic structure that symbolizes resilience in the face of unimaginable hardship. Learn about the bridge's construction and significance, walk across its steel spans, and enjoy the views of the surrounding jungle and mountains.
Stop for lunch at a local restaurant (not included in the tour price) with a chance to sample delicious Thai cuisine before continuing to the natural portion of your journey.
In the afternoon, head to Erawan National Park, home to the Erawan Waterfall, one of Thailand’s most beautiful natural wonders. The seven-tiered cascade flows through a dense jungle and into emerald green pools — perfect for hiking, swimming, and cooling off. You’ll have time to explore the trails, take a dip, and capture amazing photos.
Finally, enjoy a scenic and comfortable drive back to Bangkok with drop-off at your hotel (if selected).
